What Happened to KIFM?

I've been listening to KIFM for over 30 years. The radio station turned me on to "smooth jazz." The first song that really blew me away was John Klemmer's "Touch." I then got hooked on Andreas Vollenweider, Acoustic Alchemy, Brian Hughes, and The Rippingtons. Life was good.

But the KIFM I try to listen to today sadly no longer plays any of these artists.

Now rockers like Sting and balladeers like Bonnie Raitt have somehow become smooth jazz artists, Huh? How did this happen? Does Sting know what's happened to him? Does Bonnie?

KIFM still calls itself the smooth jazz station as their logo proclaims, but the jazz has disappeared and I'm not so sure it's even smooth anymore.

I cry myself to sleep now. Listening to PANDORA.COM on my computer.
